The coiled cord is stiff to operate, but it is long enough to be fully functional within the confines of my car. I highly recommend this car charger.
I have found that the coil can be too tight at time, pulling on my phone, but all you need to do it stretch it out for 10 seconds and it will be fine.
The only problem is one of personal annoyance which may or may not apply to you. I hate how springy the cord is, invariably I will have it snap from my hand several times before getting it in the charger. I'm probably just more of a spaz than the average person, but this is the first charger I've ever experienced this with.
